Coronavirus Update
The Bradford Small Livestock Society is delighted to welcome attendees to the 99th Championship Show to be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd January 2022 at Doncaster Racecourse. This year's event will be a little different than usual in order to ensure your safety is prioritised. We are bound by the Government to comply with certain COVID regulations due to the scale of our event and we ask you to please read carefully the following protocols ahead of your visit.
Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd January 2022
All attendees arriving on Friday 21st January, Saturday 22nd January and Sunday 23rd January 2022 WILL be required to provide a COVID Pass. This is either proof of your Vaccination Certificate OR Proof of a Negative COVID Lateral Flow Test. Under 18's are exempt.
Once you have provided your COVID Pass at the checkpoints, you will be issued a coloured wristband from the security staff to indicate that your COVID Pass or Negative Lateral Flow Test has been approved. The wristband must be worn at all times and will need to be shown when entering or exiting the exhibition hall. There will be a new coloured wristband issued for each daily admission.
If you arrive without a COVID Pass or proof of a Negative Lateral Flow Test, there will be supervised facilities outside the exhibition hall for you to undertake a Lateral Flow Test in order for you to be admitted to the event.
NHS COVID Pass (Proof of Vaccination)
Your COVID Pass needs to be shown at the entrance to the exhibition hall and does not need to be sent in advance. We ask that all attendees have their COVID Pass ready to be checked on arrival to avoid delays. This can be shown on either your phone or via a printed copy.
You can obtain proof of your vaccination through:
- NHS App (www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/)
- Online (covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk)
- Paper Certificate (www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/get-your-covid-pass-letter/) you can follow this link OR call 119 to request a letter sent to you in the post showing your COVID-19 status.
Please note, the paper card that you receive after your vaccination does not count as proof and you will need your Vaccination Certificate as per the above options.
Confirmation of a Negative Lateral Flow Test
Once you have taken your COVID test, your negative result must be logged on the NHS app or online. You will then receive a text or email that will need to be shown on entry. Tests must be taken no more than 48 hours before Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd January 2022.
